Founded in 1951 as a cultural centre aiming to promote and strengthen the already existing cultural ties and friendship between Turkey and the United Kingdom, the Association has been functioning since then as a centre for cultural activities and language teaching, bridging the understanding between the two allied countries.
With over 50 years of experience, the Association employs qualified teaching and administrative staff, up-to-date teaching methodology and modern facilities, all justifing its well-deserved reputation as a long-established institution in English Language Teaching and Cultural Affairs. Furthermore, the TBA is officially recognised as a Cambridge ESOL Examinations Centre.
